The Difference between Rich and Poor People

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family. On their return from their trip, the father asked his son,

"How was the trip?"

"It was great, Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what you learned from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless. Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

昨晚相约旧同事在餐馆聚餐，正聊得尽兴时有一位美男子走了进来。他就是我的白马王子，立威廉！买马票都没那么准，我竟然能在现实生活中遇见我的白马王子！这一定是爱神的眷顾...哈哈，想太多了。我的王子与戏（天国的嫁衣）中没两样，一样拥有着绅士般的气质与英俊的容貌。

没有啦，我没有勇气走向前去和他打招呼。我只能默默的望着他的一举一动直到被人群淹没。我想我还是比较喜欢在家中欣赏银幕里的他，至少他永远都会是那么的完美。就让我做做美梦，保留一些少女对白马王子的崇憬吧。

I was having fun submitting my photographs for a face recognition on-line game to find out which celebrities look like me. The results are very funny, below are the matches:

The closest match is actress Kim Hee-Sun from Korea, hehe.. she is so pretty :P The second match won me popularities from colleagues who were fans of Michael Schmacher. I still don't understand why I look like the third match - Hong Jin Bao, a martial art actor?

The challenge

We have been very slacked when it comes to practicing flute. Teacher always need to emphasize the importance of practicing daily in order to progress timely but we will entertain him with nonsense excuses. We feel sorry for teacher as he has to put up with two lazy fellows but we somehow enjoy the way things go. Finally teacher came up with an idea, he challenged us. He wanted one of us to practice daily for thirty minutes and the other don't. He wanted to show us the difference between the two. And naturally I was choosen to be the one who take up the challenge since I am less busy. So starting from today, I have to make it a point to practice daily without fail. Am I able to do it, so disciplined? Well, we shall see...

重逢

那晚怀着好玩的心情出席了南方二重唱的迷你演唱会。南方二重唱，一个久久不曾听到却又似曾相识的名字。对她们的印像模糊到连样子我也记不得了，是我健忘还是真的已经过了太久呢？好不容易才赶到演唱会地点，也就是‘弹唱人’的新弹唱天地。室内前座已经爆满了，想必一定是一批忠实的歌迷前来支持，而我们只好到户外物色几个好位子。位子锁定后没多久，当天的主角也粉墨登场了。为了暖场，大小南方不断的搞笑把大家都逗得很乐。说真的我不认得她们了，样子与说话的声音都是陌生的。说时慢那时快，就当我还在思索中寻找线索时，瞬间传来一把熟悉的歌声唱的'梦田'...

惊叹！我被吓到了！南方二重唱的歌声竟然那么的棒，一高一底的声线配合得天衣无缝。响亮而有力的大南方再配合小南方的轻柔伴唱，两把吉他随心所欲的伴奏着一首首悦耳动听的民歌。好棒哦，我真觉得庆幸能到现场感受如此附有感染力的演唱，仿佛看到在跳动的音符沐浴在热忱美妙的歌曲令人感动不已。

我不认得她们，但她们的歌声竟能穿梭时空岁月的变迁与我重逢，好奇妙的感觉啊!就是这样的好音乐不会随着时间而变质，它将与岁月共进退散播到世界每一个角落与知音重逢。一把来自南方的好歌声 '南方二重唱'.

Emotion-mix

I was feeling great today, just like any other days. And I was about to go for a double date this evening, was really looking forward to it. It was busy day in the office but I managed to accomplished most of the tasks so it was pretty fulfilling until I heard an unpleasant news. Although the news have been floating around for couple of months but no announcement was made yet. Today is the day whereby I was alerted of the bad situation and was warned to be mentally-prepared. It don't feel good at all, my heart sank and suddenly my thoughts went negative...

However I am alright, have decided to carry on like normal until it strikes, then I will react (按兵不动政策). No point worrying for the unhappened, it may not even happen.
